Verren Archive

The Royal Archive of Verren is a six-spired library carved into the marble cliffs above the harbor. In 1809, the Censure sealed the East Wing after a heresy in the cataloguing. The chief librarian vanished — recorded as deceased of overwork, no body recovered. Forty-seven years later, an earthquake fractures the sealed door. The wing has spent the half-century generating the architecture of a dungeon underneath itself. The murdered librarian is awake inside the foundation stone. The Black Library of Othax has been waiting. A quiet, patient-narrator dungeon-core series where the loot is knowledge.
