The Salt Circle

Beneath the spire-cities of the Cordant Belt, twenty-seven healer-monks have been bound into salt circles to contain the plagues the temple cartel could not cure. They are recorded as deceased. Their bodies are interred under salt. Their consciousnesses run free clinics for the refugees who can't afford the tithe.
